Pieces (2013) is a labor of love that first bloomed in a small recording studio in Melbourne, Australia. It soon traveled abroad—stopping in metropolises like New York and Tel Aviv—meeting and collaborating with new musicians along the way. A fusion of soulful musical composition, poignant lyrics, and world-class arrangement and production; Pieces is the debut album of contemporary Jewish artist, Sara Hecht.
The arrangements of producer/arranger Ian Freitor take the stage in this album, together with the talents of Australian musician Hanna Silver, Israeli arranger Ron Tichon, American music executive Aton Ben-Horin, and Florida-based engineer James Rowand. Mixed and mastered by the virtuoso Eli Lishinsky.
